Kum B.Radha Devi, Join Secretary of Vivekananda Kendra
Arunachal Pradesh Trust was the invited speaker in the program. After
completion of presentations by all the youth group representatives Kum.B.Radha Devi
has done the summing up beautifully in her own unique way. In her speech she
appreciated all the participants’ for their involvement in the program and the
way some of the youth speakers expressed their views. One girl student of Dibru
college during her presentation while speaking about the villagers of Assam has
shown her great maturity by correcting herself after saying “most of the people
in the villages are uneducated “ by immediately saying “It will be improper to
say uneducated, it will be illiterate”. Which
was very much appreciated by Kum B.Radha Devi by saying ”how nice to see a young
girl could differentiate between educated and literate”. “Education in Indian
perspective is much more than the academic qualification one posses or the bundle
of information stored in ones’ memory”
she continues” It is the moral values or noble qualities which get expressed in every attitude, action, feelings,
relationships and commitments as a result of real education” . One of the youth
participants also mentioned that in India even in this modern time some people believes in
superstitions. We need to educate them
so that they can overcome their blind believe. In respond to this Radhadidi said that “No doubt
there are some superstition exists but we cannot say that all are bogus. There
are lot more believe systems and rituals still exist in India which since
thousands of years are nurturing the inner greatness to its ultimate manifestation.
They are all time tested. One generation passes it to the next generation. They
are better known as ‘Sanskara’. It has been the basic foundation of social
structure of our motherland since ancient time but never loses its relevance. It was
an integral aspect of our education system since then”. She continues her
speech with many such explanation, instances and references which were very attentively,
eagerly with interest listened by the youth participants. She concluded her
speech by saying “Right thought lead us to right act, right act lead us to
right result and right result lead us to right rewards. So take care of your
thought first the rest will follow itself.”

Some of Sanskar Varga children performed a patriotic song before the keynote speech.
Kum.B. Radha Devi very beautifully presented and explained the actual meaning of Seva in a very simple and convincing way. In her speech she said that "there is no synonym of 'SEVA ' in English which could define its actual meaning. "Service" is only a partial expression of 'SEVA'. " She also cited example of mothers who does everything for well-being of her children but without any personal expectation."SEVA" is selfless service with love, shraddha, and commitment. Likewise Didi carried out the discourse in a very inspiring and thought provoking fashion. The speech was followed by an interactive session where few attendants also expressed their views and asked few questions which added further clarity to the concept and the session became more lively. The program concluded with a vedic hymn as shanti path .
